Erzetič
The story of the Erzetič family from Višnjevik has been written for a long time in close connection with nature, viticulture and wine production. The inhabitants of Višnjevik will tell you that the homestead is called ‘pri Martinovih’ because it was devised in 1725 by the first landowner Martin, that’s why this name is still in use nowadays.
Viticulture tradition and love for wine were passed down from one generation to another, and that’s why Anton has also passed on his precious experience to his son Aleksij, who is improving it with diligence and a clear vision. Working in vineyards is a never-ending story. That’s why it is also important to have the help of other family members: his wife Vera, daughter Teja and son Andrej, who are all very proud of their viticulture tradition and they set to work very quickly and with a spark in their eyes. Their youngest daughter Neja, who is very mischievous, takes care of the amusement and joy of her family and guests for now.
In the autumn, the entire extended family joins in the picking of the grapes, which will become the soul of their wine story. The Erzetič family highly respects family values and tradition. Through the years, every generation after Martin has maintained their homestead with respect and diligence and has strived for success and improvement. They stay loyal to the land of Brda while combining the traditional ways of making wine with modern knowledge and technology, thus enriching their excellent varietal wine.

A wine of gentle red colour. The nose is rich, reminiscent of forest fruits, especiallystrawberries and blackberries. The “crescendo” of red fruits comes to an end in a long aftertaste with gentler notes, reminiscent of a rhubarb compote with cinnamon, cloves, and lemon zest.
