Moet&Chandon
Moët & Chandon’s vines grow on terroirs in the heart of the Champagne region, characterized by its unique geology and climate. It is one of the world's largest manufacturers of champagne and one of the best known champagne houses in the world. Founded in 1743, the house now owns over 1,500 acres (6 km²) of vineyards and annually produces over 2,000,000 cases of champagne. Three main grape varieties are used in the elaboration of all of their champagnes: the pinot noir, the meunier and the chardonnay. The art of blending requires the selection and harmonising of wines from different areas and grape varieties, and even from different years, to create a wine that perfectly expresses the Moët & Chandon style.

Its blend reflects the diversity and complementarity of the three main grape varieties in Champagne whose proportions vary from year to year, but always find the same harmony: the body of Pinot Noir (30 to 40%), the suppleness of Meunier (30 to 40%), and the finesse of Chardonnay (20 to 30%).Slightly golden straw yellow with delicate green glints.Green apple, citrus, etc. The striking intensity of these fruity notes is immediately followed by a wave of mineral freshness and white flowers. Then, the blonde nuances of brioche, cereals and fresh nuts hint at elegant maturity.Generous and tasty, white fruit notes including pear, white peach and apple, unfurl on the palate, in the company of fine, light bubbles. Then, little by little, the sweet liveliness of the citrus nuances comes into focus, and lingers delicately in the mouth.

The intensity of the Pinot Noir dominates, contributing almost half of the blend. Meunier brings roundness, while Chardonnay brings its generous elegance to the two other grape varieties. Depending on the year, 20 to 30% of reserve wines complete the intensity, subtlety and consistency of Moët Impérial Rosé champagne.Bright pink adorned with amber glints. The lively and intense bouquet is full of red fruits: wild strawberry, raspberry, cherry, etc. Then, a scattering of rose petals inspire floral nuances, underscored with a slight hint of pepper.Strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant: the juicy and persistent intensity of the red berries explodes onto the palate, joined by the fleshy, then firm peach aromas. The finish is structured by the freshness of a subtle peppery and minty note.

A gentle expression of the Moët & Chandon style, which owes the name Nectar to its generous dosage and fruity richness. Its blend reflects the diversity and complementarity of the three main grape varieties: Pinot Noir for structure (40 to 50% depending on the vintage), Meunier for its body (30 to 40%), and Chardonnay for freshness (10 to 20%).Deep gold with gold glints. After the explosion of tropical notes such as pineapple and mango, the full roundness of stone fruit (mirabelle plum, apricot) settles in, underscored by a light dash of vanilla. The mouth is first enveloped by dense tropical fruit notes: pineapple and passion fruit. Then, it discovers the firm and silky flavours of stone fruits, finishing on the invigorating freshness of grapefruit.
