Šturm
In the region of Bela Krajina, near Metlika, by the Church of St. Anne, the Šturm family produces a wide array of various wines – white, red and rosé, young and mature, dry and sweet, still and sparkling, for everyday indulgences and for most ceremonious moments. The Šturms have been pushing the boundaries from the very beginning. Today, they cultivate eight hectares of their own and leased vineyards.

The wine is opaque purple with a medium accentuated but variegated and youthful bouquet. The scent of red berries is intertwined with pleasant notes of spiciness. In the mouth we feel the delicate texture, juicy fruitiness of reddish forest fruits and light notes of black pepper, which express the varietal characteristic. It is dry, medium to full body, with lively but balanced acids, nice freshness and lower tannin content. A wine with a pleasant softness and a medium-long setting. Extremely drinkable wine.

The wine is a delicate lemon-yellow color, with an exceptionally fruity and nutmeg bouquet reminiscent of nutmeg grapes, and after a year or two it slowly grows into the aroma of sweet spices, mint and honey. In the mouth, the wine is semi-sweet, with a residual sugar between 35 and 50 g / liter. It has a rich body with a pronounced nutmeg aroma and an oily texture that swells nicely in the mouth. The wine has a long harmonious development and a beautiful muscat finish. Very popular as a standalone wine among lovers of sweeter wines.
