The unique character of Broken Bones peated single malt distillate is the result of a combination of traditional Slovenian and Scottish making of spirits. Carefully selected peated malt, yeast and a combination of new barrels made of Slovenian oak and used barrels in which the distillate is nurtured, gives it a recognizably full, peaty taste.In the peated development set, you cantaste the magic of maturing distillate in barrels in three steps - from fresh distillate (new make), over a 12-month-old distillate to Broken Bones Peated Whisky, three years old.Fresh distillate (New make)Immediately after the distillation is completed,the new make contains about 70% alcohol. The sample in front of you however, ist diluted to drinkable 46%. At this poing, the taste of distillate is considerably sharp, with a pronounced aroma of barley, and merely hints that it will eventually mature into rounded, complex and elegant whisky. 12 months old distillateThe distillate was initially aged in Slovenian oak barrels, and then moved to the used barrels in which the best Scottish peated whisky from the Island of Islay were aged before. This Chardonnay lits the glass with a crystal clear, golden yellow colour and dense texture. We observe slowly slipping tears along the walls of the glass.Alluring and refined aromas are reminiscent of pineapple slices, quince and yellow apple, lemon zest, honey, yellow rose petals, straw, wild mint, pan brioche, vanilla and almonds.A dry expression of Chardonnay leaving a soft and reasonably warm touch. It refreshes our palate pleasantly, leaving a mineral touch, with slight astringency resulting in a slightly spicy finish.A wine of nobility, with an adolescent spirit that shows its ageing potential. It boasts a long persistency and an intense, harmonious taste with flavours of apple, quince, lemon zest and butteriness in the finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon is of an intensive ruby red colour with shades of pomegranate. Its fruity aroma is magically mixed with the flavour of spices and sour cherries. The acids are emphasized and noticeable, which gives the wine the characteristic of its variety. The aftertaste is lengthy and pleasant.
